Born in Ghana,West Africa;Ophelia Yankson has had creative blood flowing through her veins since she was a child.As the senior fashion designer for Pages Couture,Ophelia creates work that conveys her vision with a blend of originality and creativity of fashions past and present.Ophelia designs custom clothing for all.Her creations include anything from form fitting jeans to beautiful ballroom gowns that are guaranteed to have heads turning in admiration.She is so skilled in her craft, that she needs no pattern for her designs.she basically sizes her clients up and creates the garments based on sight alone.Her talent and individuality is blatantly displayed in every garment she creates
History
She has been the primary designer for many major events,such as the annual Miss Africa Pageant of 2010.Her designs were worn by few of the contestants as well as members of the staff.She has also designed clothes for a television station in Ghana,called Tv3 .Several radio personalities have also worn her garments.
Ophelia has taken part in many fashion shows and won few awards for her work.
Mentoring
Ophelia is a very giving person.She has trained young boys and girls in Ghana.Teaching them to be the best they could be in this profession. She is also working on a project to help and encourage the youth of today to take education serious and also work on achieving their goals in life.
